Job summary

SP Energy Networks, part of the ScottishPower group, is seeking a Document Controller to manage project documentation across 132kV and related projects. You will control, store and distribute records, ensure governance and support audits with engineering, procurement and project teams.

The role is permanent and hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote) based in Birkenhead, with a salary from £34,040 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience as Document Controller, Records Management or Project Support in engineering, construction, utilities or infrastructure.
• Experience using Document Management Systems (DMS) and established control processes.
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and electronic databases.

Responsibilities

• Ensure integrity and governance of project documentation across multiple projects.
• Manage document control systems, registers and filing structures, and administer digital workflows.
• Coordinate document transmittals, track revisions, approvals and distributions; support audits.
