Job summary

SP Energy Networks, part of the Iberdrola Group, is seeking a Document Controller in Birkenhead to manage project documentation across 132kV/33kV networks. You will control document revisions, maintain registers and filing structures, and ensure compliance with procedures and quality standards.

The role requires collaboration with engineers, project teams and suppliers. A strong background in DMS and MS Office is essential; hybrid working arrangement is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in Document Controller or Records Management.
• Experience within Engineering, Construction, Utilities or infrastructure.
• Experience using DMS and revision/approval workflows.
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and databases.

Responsibilities

• Ensure integrity, accuracy and governance of project documentation across multiple projects.
• Manage document control systems, registers and filing structures; administer digital workflows.
• Coordinate document transmittals, track revisions, approvals and distribution.
• Support audits with documentation and evidence; contribute to process improvements.
