Job summary

SP Energy Networks, Birkenhead, invites applications for a Document Controller to support 132kV network projects. You will manage governance, storage and distribution of project documentation, ensuring accuracy and traceability across the full lifecycle.

Working in a hybrid setup (3 days in office, 2 days remote), you'll collaborate with project managers, engineers and external partners, maintain filing structures and document control systems, and contribute to audits and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with document control in engineering/construction projects.
• Strong organisational and record-keeping abilities.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure integrity, accuracy and governance of project documentation.
• Manage document revisions, approvals, and distribution within DMS.
• Coordinate transmittals, monitor workflows, and follow up reviews.
• Support audits with relevant documentation and evidence.
• Contribute to process improvement and guidance for project teams.
