Job summary

Danny Sullivan & Sons Ltd is recruiting an experienced Document Controller to join a major highways and transport infrastructure project in Solihull. You will manage and maintain project documentation, control drawings and specifications, and ensure accurate filing and distribution.

The role offers hybrid working (3 days on site, 2 days from home) and a fixed-term contract running until July 2027. You will coordinate with site teams, engineers and subcontractors to keep QA records and handover

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication with site teams, engineers and subcontractors.
• Experience working with document control processes in construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain all project documentation, ensuring accurate filing, tracking and distribution.
• Upload, review and issue drawings, technical documents, reports and specifications.
• Maintain document registers, revision histories and document control procedures.
• Ensure all documentation is correctly named, coded and stored in accordance with project requirements.
• Coordinate document submissions between site teams, engineers, subcontractors, designers and clients.
• Manage document workflows, approvals and transmittals.
• Ensure the latest approved drawings and documents are available to project teams.
• Assist with the preparation and collation of QA records, inspection reports, handover packs and O&M manuals.
• Monitor outstanding document submissions and follow up with relevant stakeholders.
• Support project teams with administrative duties and reporting requirements.
