Job summary

The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) is seeking a Training and Technical Performance Lead to develop and improve digital learning and technical performance solutions across UKTMS. You will oversee learning technologies, digital content, LMS and supplier relationships, ensuring training is effective, compliant and aligned with priorities.

You will drive data‑led learning approaches to enhance workforce capability, maintain governance, value for money and support the wider technical

Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing technical learning solutions, including digital and blended learning.
• Experience managing learning technologies and resources to deliver value-for-money services.
• Experience leading projects and managing procurement/contract aspects.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills with data-driven insight.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Leading the development and continuous improvement of digital learning solutions and technical performance initiatives.
• Managing learning systems and digital platforms with governance, accessibility and service improvement.
• Monitoring performance data and learning analytics to drive improvements and capability.
• Developing dashboards and reporting tools to track learning effectiveness.
• Overseeing procurement, supplier relationships and contract management for digital learning suppliers.
