Job summary

HID Global in Cardiff, Wales is seeking a DevOps Associate Manager to lead CI/CD, improve release predictability and scale testing environments. You will bridge DevTest and Development teams, design robust CI/CD pipelines, and drive automation across the software delivery lifecycle.

The role requires an engineering background, 7+ years in the industry, strong knowledge of Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Terraform and cloud services, plus leadership and communication skills to mentor teammates and

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent, or suitable experience.
• Minimum of +7 years of related industry experience.
• Familiarity with infrastructure management and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a wide range of testing techniques to support a scalable and automated CI/CD environment.
• Monitor and triage CI/CD pipeline test failures.
• Design, build and document new CI/CD infrastructure for new features.
• Identify test gaps and liaise with teams to address them.
• Communicate test results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Project manage and provide technical leadership to achieve team results.
• Coach/mentor others and raise defects with the business to prioritize by severity.
• Deliver technical reports and contribute to customer escalations.
