Job summary

HID Global in Cardiff, UK is seeking an experienced DevOps Associate Manager to lead the establishment and continuous improvement of a scalable CI/CD framework. You will drive automated testing environments, accelerate release cycles, and improve release predictability across teams.

You will bridge DevTest and Development, design pipelines, mentor engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reliable software delivery and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7+ years in the industry.
• Familiarity with infra management and monitoring tools.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, Gradle, Snyk, SonarQube and related tooling.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and TDD/BDD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and evolve CI/CD infrastructure and testing strategies.
• Monitor and triage CI/CD pipeline test failures.
• Lead cross-functional teams across development and DevOps.
• Communicate test results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor team members and drive adoption of TDD/BDD.
