The Travelers is seeking a Development Underwriter to drive new business and strengthen broker partnerships in the London market. You will independently assess risk, negotiate terms and bind mid-market accounts, leveraging property and casualty underwriting expertise.

This role offers hybrid work with three days in the office and two home days, a focus on portfolio management, growth, and collaboration across teams to maintain profitability and long-term success.

Formación

• Underwriting experience and risk assessment.
• Knowledge of insurance products and market.
• Analytical thinking and ability to negotiate with brokers.

Responsabilidades

• Manage profitability, growth and retention of assigned book.
• Underwrite and negotiate moderate risks to maximise profitability.
• Proactively manage portfolio and target new business.
• Cultivate broker relationships and cross-sell opportunities.
• Mentor junior underwriters and support team.
