Job summary

WEG Engineering and Technology is seeking a Delivery Manager to lead a university infrastructure programme on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role combines agile and waterfall methods to deliver critical upgrades across campus and associated sites, with strong stakeholder engagement involving senior officers and academics.

You will also manage relationships with third-party suppliers, monitor SLAs and configuration management, and oversee budgets and governance processes to ensure timely

Qualifications

• Experience delivering multiple large infrastructure projects.
• Customer-focused with a track record of meeting deadlines.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting and resource allocation.
• Proven senior-level leadership in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, scheduling, implementation and tracking of project activities and Scrum events.
• Monitor delivery success, run retrospectives and drive improvements.
• Evaluate projects and releases for relevance, benefits, and compliance.
• Identify and manage risks, issues and blockers; ensure financial forecasting and governance.
• Oversee budgets and resource allocation; ensure governance and KPIs are tracked.
• Mentor Junior Delivery Managers and matrix-manage cross-functional teams.
