Job summary

MWH Treatment Limited is looking to strengthen our Delivery team with a Project Manager based at Manchester & Wigan with hybrid working available. You will oversee the design, construction, commissioning and handover of contracts to ensure delivery is safe, on time and within the tender estimate while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager or Operations Manager, you will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage commercial aspects, and ensure adherence to NEC

Qualifications

• Project Management experience across multi-disciplinary design and construction projects.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in construction/engineering.
• PMQ or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent oral and written communication with clients, stakeholders and end users.
• Delivery driven with ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams to time, cost and quality objectives.
• Knowledge of NEC and/or IChemE contracts.
• Ability to present at MWHT Governance Reviews in a leading capacity.
• Risk & Opportunities management experience.
• Working knowledge of CDM and construction Health & Safety.
• Chartered with an engineering, commercial or construction institution.
• NEC Project Manager Accreditation.
• Technical competencies include: Contract Management, Governance, Budgeting and cost control, Risk management, Project Planning, Digital Delivery, Procurement, Change management, Quality management, Client/stakeholder management, Resource management, and Leadership.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety and delivery quality standards for direct and subcontracted work.
• Ensure that the BMS is implemented from tender handover to final completion.
• Maintain good client relationships at all levels.
• Manage commercial aspects with accurate forecasts and estimates.
• Present at governance reviews in a leading capacity.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver on time, cost and quality.
• Maintain professional relationships with joint venture partners and suppliers.
• Ensure adequate trained personnel and clear responsibilities.
