Job summary

WSP in London is seeking skilled Project and Design Managers to deliver design management solutions across major projects. You will coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders, chair design review meetings, and lead proactive change management to meet scope, cost and programme targets.

The role emphasizes maintaining records, managing RFIs, and ensuring buildability across design stages, while supporting the Lead Design Delivery Manager with team oversight.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, design, or management discipline.
• Chartered membership or nearing chartered status is advantageous.
• Certifications (ARB/RIBA/MICE/MIET/APM/PMI/PRINCE2/Six Sigma) are advantageous.
• Experience with contract management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive clear communication across internal teams and external stakeholders, chair DTMs and ensure actions are completed.
• Support coordination and resolution of technical queries considering cost and programme; manage change control.
• Strengthen project management processes, manage RFIs, transmittals and change control; mitigate risks and delays.
• Review design information, quotations and technical docs for scope, budget, and client expectations.
• Maintain accurate project records, update delivery programmes, promote efficiency and buildability across design stages.
• Oversee multiple work packages and support the Lead Design Delivery Manager with delivery oversight.
