Job summary

Babcock International Group in Ashchurch, near Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of mission-critical defence projects. You'll work with Project Managers and engineering teams to keep programmes on track in a highly regulated environment.

This role offers hybrid working, with a mix of on-site and home-based days, and a chance to develop your project management career within a leading defence and engineering organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management or project delivery environments.
• Ability to collaborate with a range of stakeholders and teams.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and meeting deadlines.
• Experience delivering projects within complex operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning, scheduling and delivery across multiple workstreams.
• Manage project controls including cost tracking and reporting.
• Coordinate risk management, procurement and documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to maintain momentum.
• Drive achievement of milestones, objectives and deliverables.
