Job summary

GBR Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a Lincolnshire-based commercial defence business to appoint an experienced Project Manager. The role is hybrid: 3-4 days in the office, 1-2 days from home, with occasional office days to meet business needs and client-site travel for meetings.

You will deliver complex high software and hardware capital projects for external clients, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring OTIF delivery within budget.

Qualifications

• End to end project management for high value (£Ms) programs.
• Experience in defence/government or software/hardware contracts.
• Hybrid role and travel to client sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• End to end project management, from initial planning through execution and finalisation.
• Deliver projects OTIF within deadlines and budget.
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables.
• Create and maintain project plans, schedules and resources.
• Coordinate with internal and external cross-functional teams.
• Identify, manage and remedy project risks and issues.
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Chair meetings and track progress to resolve issues.
• Maintain engineering documentation and ensure compliance with standards.
