Job summary

GBR Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a Lincolnshire-based commercial defence business to hire an experienced Project Manager. The role delivers complex high software and hardware capital projects, with a hybrid pattern of 3-4 days in the office and 1-2 days at home, plus travel to client sites as needed.

You will oversee end-to-end project delivery, managing scope, schedule, budget and stakeholder communications for multi-million pound programmes in defence and large-scale corporate

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering multi-million £ projects in defence or government sectors.
• Hybrid role with office and client site travel.
• Strong in defining scope, plans, risks and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end project management from planning through to execution and finalisation.
• Deliver projects OTIF within time and budget constraints.
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables.
• Create, maintain and develop project plans including schedules and resources.
• Coordinate with internal and external cross-functional teams.
• Identify, manage and remedy project risks and issues.
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Chair and participate in project meetings to track progress and resolve issues.
• Maintain engineering documentation drawings and ensure compliance with required standards.
