Job summary

Babcock is hiring an Assistant Project Manager for Ashchurch, near Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. You will help deliver highly classified defence projects within Mission Technologies, coordinating with Project Managers and engineering teams to ensure on-time, within-budget outcomes.

In this role you will gain exposure to cutting-edge tech, stakeholder management, and regulated environments while supporting multiple workstreams and milestones. Hybrid working with 3-4 days onsite.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a project management or project delivery environment.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and teams.
• Demonstrated initiative and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning, scheduling and delivery across multiple workstreams.
• Manage project controls including cost tracking and reporting.
• Coordinate risk management, procurement and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to maintain momentum.
• Drive milestones, objectives and deliverables to successful completion.
