Job summary
South Thames Colleges Group is recruiting a Digital Data, Systems & Insights Officer to develop and maintain its digital systems, reporting tools and data processes. The role sits in the Information Development Team within MIS, ensuring reliable data delivery and insightful reporting for management and learners.
The post focuses on SQL queries, reports, data extracts, Power BI dashboards, Power Apps and Power Automate, with emphasis on data integrity, testing, documentation and regulatory
Qualifications
- Experience in maintaining relational databases and writing SQL queries.
- Ability to design, develop and optimise data reports and extracts.
- Experience with Power BI dashboards and BI reporting tools.
- Familiarity with Power Apps and Power Automate integrations.
- Knowledge of MS Reporting Services and data governance processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, reports and data extracts.
- Support and enhance MS Reporting Services reports and Power BI dashboards.
- Design and optimise data flows across systems; conduct testing and QA.
- Produce clear technical documentation and ensure data accuracy for KPIs.
- Assist with regulatory compliance and data integrity across systems.
- Collaborate with senior developers and travel between sites under hybrid policy.
