Job summary

Cathcart Associates Group Ltd is seeking a Data Analyst to join their technology team in Greater Manchester on a hybrid basis. You will own reporting and analytics across a platform used by millions of users, turning data into clear insights.

You will work with large datasets to understand user behaviour, measure the impact of product changes, and help establish a single source of truth for key metrics. This role offers growth into more advanced analytics and modelling.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
• Good SQL skills and ability to query relational databases
• Experience building dashboards and presenting data visually
• Ability to turn analysis into meaningful conclusions from large datasets
• Strong communication skills to explain findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Interest in user behaviour and digital products and understanding metric changes

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dashboards and regular business reporting
• Query and analyse large datasets using SQL
• Present analysis clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Analyse customer behaviour across digital products and measure impact of changes
• Analyse results from A/B tests and experiments
• Establish consistent KPIs and reporting across the organisation
• Support product and commercial teams with ad-hoc analysis
• Develop knowledge of web analytics and Google Analytics
• Progress to more advanced statistical modelling and data value extraction
