Job summary

CCA Recruitment Group is seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join a well-established organisation on a temporary 3-month contract in Northampton. You will act as the first point of contact for customers, processing orders, responding to enquiries and updating internal systems to ensure a consistently high standard of service.

You will work as part of a team, handling inbound and outbound communications with strong emphasis on accuracy, confidentiality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 12 months experience in a call centre-based customer service role handling telephone and written enquiries.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer-focused approach and a professional manner.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when updating systems and processing information.
• Good IT skills, with confidence using various computer systems and software.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the confidence to take ownership of enquiries.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A flexible approach and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming telephone and written enquiries, providing a professional and customer-focused service.
• Process customer orders and update internal systems accurately and efficiently.
• Manage customer queries and complaints, liaising with relevant departments to ensure timely resolution.
• Make outbound calls to provide updates and communicate important information to customers.
• Maintain accurate customer records and produce routine reports when required.
• Contact customers regarding invoices and outstanding payments where necessary.
• Identify and escape service issues, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet service targets and maintain high standards of customer care.
• Follow company procedures, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection requirements.
