Job summary

Online Direct is seeking a Customer Service Administrator to join the Broker Support Team on a hybrid basis. The role offers a salary between £24,460 and £27,000 DOE, plus a bonus, with 37 hours per week, Monday–Friday.

Based in Northampton, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers, manage contract queries, and support energy brokers with back-office tasks to ensure smooth contract activations.

Qualifications

• Utilities industry experience desirable.
• 1–2 years of administrative and customer service experience.
• Confident, friendly and professional telephone manner.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle and resolve diverse queries.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers, guiding them to complete and secure energy contracts.
• Build strong internal and external relationships for collaborative service and contract queries.
• Log and complete tasks using supplier systems.
• Provide efficient phone service, support, and response to queries per SLAs.
• Ensure live dates are met through proactive query resolution.
