Müller UK & Ireland is hiring a Credit Controller for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Telford. This hybrid role involves daily on-site work three days a week within our Shared Service Team and focuses on managing customer accounts, cash flow, and query resolution in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

You will work with SAP ERP and SAP-based processes, handle reconciliation, and ensure payments adhere to terms while supporting month-end reporting and continuous process improvements.

Formación

• Proven debt collection and cash application experience.
• Strong reconciliation and ledger maintenance skills.
• Experience using SAP ERP; SAGE is an advantage.
• Ability to negotiate and influence payment terms effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Perform proactive and reactive debt collection by phone and email to improve cash flow.
• Reconcile customer payments and maintain the sales ledger accurately.
• Ensure customer payments align with agreed terms and dates.
• Identify and resolve invoicing, price, and delivery queries early.
• Communicate issues to management and commercial teams clearly.
• Monitor customer trading to ensure credit limits are respected.
• Complete month-end tasks and reporting when required.
• Deliver excellent service to internal and external customers.
• Support projects and team initiatives as needed.
