Job summary

VML, part of WPP, is seeking a confident Content Designer to shape content across our client websites. You will collaborate with UX, UI, Research, and Product teams to craft engaging, accessible, and data-informed content that guides users through campaigns, launches and landing pages.

You’ll rely on user research and AI-enabled insights to refine copy, align with tone of voice, and ensure consistency across journeys while delivering measurable improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven content design experience for customer-facing digital products.
• Portfolio demonstrating content design, user journeys, wireframes or testing iterations.
• Figma and prototyping skills for wireframes and collaboration.
• Usability and accessibility knowledge (WCAG, typography, hierarchy).
• Research-informed decision making using quantitative and qualitative data.
• Strong stakeholder communication across design, product, brand and marketing teams.
• Attention to detail in grammar, terminology and tone of voice.
• Curiosity about AI tools and evolving workflows in content design.
• Background in English, Journalism, Communications, HCI, UX Design or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design clear, engaging, and consistent content across digital touchpoints and landing pages.
• Map user journeys and wireframes in collaboration with designers.
• Apply tone of voice and usability principles across discovery to detail pages.
• Design for accessibility with descriptive links and alternative text.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, researchers, product owners, and developers.
• Audit and iterate content journeys to identify friction and improvement opportunities.
• Support user research and testing, validate content decisions with findings.
• Contribute to design system, taxonomy, and content guidelines.
