Novus Property Solutions is seeking a Business Development Manager to generate profitable construction opportunities across new build, extensions, refurbishment and recladding in the Midlands and North of England. You will build strategic relationships, manage framework opportunities and drive growth through direct awards and tenders.

You will work with internal teams, engage with housing associations and authorities, and focus on opportunities typically between £2m and £10m, with travel across

Competenze

• Experience in business development within construction.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of procurement frameworks and public sector opportunities.
• Willingness to travel across Midlands and North of England.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain relationships with framework providers, category managers and procurement leads across key regions.
• Identify and progress upcoming mini-competitions, direct award opportunities and open-market tenders aligned to growth plans.
• Build strategic relationships with housing associations, local authorities, universities, NHS Trusts, blue light services and private developers.
• Generate a healthy pipeline of opportunities across new build, refurbishment, recladding and building safety projects (£2m–£10m).
• Engage with clients early to support procurement strategy and value engineering opportunities.
• Collaborate with Bid, Estimating, Operations and Commercial teams to support bid qualification and interviews.
• Develop relationships with architects, cost consultants, project managers and other stakeholders to position for future opportunities.
• Produce pipeline reports, market updates and competitor insights to support planning.
