Welplan, a subsidiary of BESA, is seeking a Business Development Manager to identify, secure and grow new opportunities in the construction, infrastructure and nuclear sectors. The role emphasizes understanding National and Site Agreements, negotiating commercial terms, and transitioning new clients to Operations for delivery.

Hybrid work options from UK offices (Penrith or London) or remote. Open to both full-time and part-time applicants, with substantial growth potential and strategic impact

Qualifications

• Extensive construction industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of National and Site Agreements and their impact on workforce management.
• Proven track record in business development, sales or commercial relationship management.
• Experience identifying and converting new business opportunities.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Ability to engage with executives, project leadership, and employee representatives.
• Commercially astute with analytical and reporting capabilities.
• CRM familiarity and pipeline management experience.

Responsabilités

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for Welplan’s employee benefits platform in construction, infrastructure and related sectors.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
• Develop and execute business development plans aligned to growth objectives.
• Lead commercial discussions and contract negotiations with prospective clients.
• Ensure smooth handover to Client Services for implementation and ongoing delivery.
• Provide regular pipeline, activity and revenue forecasting to senior management.
