Bath Spa University is seeking a Conference & Events Coordinator to deliver exceptional events across the campus. You will manage graduations, conferences, seminars, and summer schools from concept through delivery, ensuring every detail is meticulously executed and events run smoothly.

You’ll coordinate venues, catering and accommodation, supervise casual staff and work with internal teams, aiming for outstanding customer experiences while maintaining budget and safety standards.

• Planning & organisational skills.
• Excellent communication & customer service skills.
• A flexible approach to working, due nature of events.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for clients, converting enquiries into bookings and ensuring every detail is perfectly planned and executed.
• Coordinate venues, catering and accommodation, manage casual staff and liaise with internal departments to oversee events from start to finish.
• Support marketing efforts, monitor budgets and ensure compliance with health and safety standards, keeping the customer experience front and centre.
