Oodle Car Finance is hiring a Collections Agent in Manchester. You will support customers with outstanding payments, offering empathetic guidance and practical payment solutions. The role combines customer care with financial health support and requires strong communication.

Hybrid working after probation with 2 days in the office per week. Training is provided to help you succeed and progress within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience in collections/call centre or debt recovery is desirable.
• Strong communication and listening skills in English.
• Ability to explain payment options clearly and empathetically.
• Comfort with targets/KPIs and working to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound/outbound calls from customers in financial difficulty.
• Discuss suitable payment solutions and establish payment plans.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support customers and resolve cases.
• Record conversations and actions in the case management system.
• Identify process improvements to enhance customer and business experience.
• Escalate risks or issues to line manager as needed.
