Job summary

Fletchers Group is recruiting a Solicitor (Grade C) or equivalent with clinical negligence experience in Manchester. The role blends hybrid working with in-office collaboration, supporting senior lawyers in a busy team.

You’ll handle a diverse clinical negligence caseload, from inception to trial, and mentor junior colleagues while ensuring high-quality client service and timely case progression in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Recent experience handling a clinical negligence caseload.
• Qualified solicitor or equivalent with NQ to 5 PQE in clinical negligence.
• Excellent drafting, organisational and time-management abilities.
• Strong client-care and communication skills.
• Good IT skills including Proclaim and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage an individual clinical negligence caseload from inception to trial.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and support the Team Leader.
• Contribute to case progression, including proactive management and settlement.
• Assist with maintaining financial and performance KPIs.
• Ensure accurate time recording and case documentation.
