Fletchers Group in Leeds seeks a Solicitor or equivalent at Clinical Negligence Grade C to join our busy team. The role supports lawyers across pre- and post-litigation work, mentoring juniors, and handling a varied caseload with supervision.

Qualifications

• Recent experience of handling a caseload.
• NQ-5 years PQE or equivalent experience in Clinical Negligence.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and drafting skills.
• Excellent IT skills with Microsoft Office, Proclaim and Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong commercial awareness within a legal environment.
• Ability to coach and mentor junior team members.
• Flexible and committed to meeting deadlines.
• Excellent client care skills.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for running an individual caseload.
• Provide guidance and support to the team to deliver outstanding client service.
• Contribute to proactive case management and progression.
• Support Team Leader to achieve departmental KPIs.
• Maintain thorough time recording and documentation.
• Draft legal documents including LOCs and letters of instruction.
• Negotiate settlements and manage proceedings as required.
• Oversee team communications and ensure quality of work.
