Job summary

Capgemini in Northampton seeks a Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of change initiatives, develop detailed plans, schedules, and roadmaps, and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery with quality. You will manage stakeholder relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, identify risks and drive governance and compliance, while coordinating resources and budgeting.

• Experience delivering large-scale business or technology transformation programs.
• Strong project management and delivery expertise.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent risk, issue, and dependency management skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and influencing abilities.
• Experience managing project budgets, timelines, and resources.
• Knowledge of change management principles and implementation practices.
• Understanding of governance, regulatory, and compliance requirements in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of change projects and strategic initiatives.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and roadmaps.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and drive timely resolution of delivery challenges.
• Build strong relationships with senior leaders, business stakeholders, technology teams, operations, and external partners.
• Provide regular updates on project status, risks, issues, and key decisions.
• Facilitate effective collaboration across multiple functions and business areas.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
• Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Escalate critical risks and issues through appropriate governance channels.
• Coordinate project resources to ensure successful delivery.
• Manage project budgets and track expenditure against approved plans.
• Support resource planning and allocation activities.
• Lead business readiness, communications, and training activities.
• Support successful implementation and adoption of change initiatives.
• Ensure new processes, products, and capabilities are embedded within the organization.
• Prepare and present project status reports for stakeholders and governance forums.
• Track milestones, deliverables, and benefits realization.
• Maintain project documentation and control artefacts.
