Job summary

Tarmac, part of the CRH group, is seeking a Change, Communications & Training Lead to drive the people side of a major transformation under Project Falcon. The role combines strategic change management with hands-on leadership, shaping the adoption across UK sites and functions.

You will lead a team delivering the change strategy, readiness, communications and training, with regular travel and a hybrid working pattern. This is a high-visibility role requiring collaboration with senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
• Change Management certification such as Prosci, APMG Change Management or CMI is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the end-to-end change strategy, readiness and adoption measures for the transformation program.
• Lead a multidisciplinary Change Management team across change, communications and training.
• Drive stakeholder engagement, sponsorship activation and resistance management strategies.
• Oversee programme communications through dedicated communications specialists.
• Ensure effective training design, delivery and adoption through the training function.
• Establish business readiness frameworks and provide go/no-go recommendations to governance.
• Monitor adoption metrics and implement targeted interventions where needed.
• Manage change risks, dependencies, budgets and resource planning.
• Build strong relationships with senior leaders and operational teams across sites.
• Support go-live, hypercare and transition into business-as-usual operations.
