Job summary

West Sussex County Council in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to analyze information, data analytics and business processes within our Customer Experience Service.

The role offers a fixed-term contract until October 2028, with hybrid working, based at Tradewinds Business Centre, Bognor Regis, 37 hours per week, and a salary of £56,874 to £60,771 per annum.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate qualification or equivalent substantial experience demonstrating knowledge in a related setting.
• Experienced project manager with the ability to assess project progress, oversee process redesigns, and implement service changes.
• Skilled in conducting research and data analysis, both internally and externally, with the ability to present findings clearly and effectively.
• Experience in business process design, testing, as well as verification and validation techniques.
• Proven ability to understand business requirements and, through a structured process, model, validate, and translate them into comprehensive business requirement specifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the assigned Programme/Project documentation on time and to high quality standards.
• Analyse and document the business and/or user requirements and publish all agreed documentation.
• Oversee the production of business processes and planned deliverables.
• Encourage and enhance the skills and capabilities of team members to ensure successful delivery.
• Identify opportunities to reduce non-essential costs while improving efficiency and value.
