Job summary

Stone King LLP in the United Kingdom is seeking a proactive Business Development & Marketing professional to support growth initiatives across events, client communications, and sales enablement. You will coordinate between fee earners and the marketing team to convert opportunities and strengthen client relationships.

The role involves managing event follow-up, updating pipelines, and creating BD materials, with hybrid working across our offices.

Qualifications

• Experience creating BD materials such as pitch decks, case studies, credentials, and product sheets.
• Understanding of basic BD processes like lead follow-up, tracking opportunities, and supporting pipeline activity.
• Confidence using CRM systems (InterAction preferable) to update records, log actions, and extract information for reports.
• Ability to capture actions from meetings accurately and ensure they are followed through to completion.
• Comfortable working with data — able to review simple reports, spot inconsistencies, and pull-out key points for BD Manager updates.

Responsibilities

• Own the follow-up process for events and webinars, ensuring timely communication, effective lead management, and accurate tracking of opportunities arising from attendee engagement.
• Attend meetings to capture and drive BD-related actions and communicate growth priorities to the marketing team.
• Create and maintain sales enablement materials (pitch decks, case studies, product sheets) for the hub and ensure resources are up to date.
• Respond to product-related enquiries promptly and liaise with the BD Manager to escalate complex queries.
• Support BD Manager with pipeline tracking and reporting and assist in preparing monthly summaries of BD activity.
