Job summary

Find Recruitment Group LTD is seeking a Business Development Manager to join a growing national training provider specialising in apprenticeships, digital, IT and HR training. Based in Leeds with hybrid working (4 days in the office), you will drive apprenticeship starts and build strong employer relationships.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in sales, business development or account management.
• Experience in the apprenticeship or training provider sector.
• Proven track record of working with B2B clients.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Confidence and resilience when prospecting and engaging employers over the phone.
• Experience managing both new business and existing client relationships.
• Genuine passion for sales and achieving results.
• Customer-focused approach.
• Excellent organisation and CRM management skills.

Responsibilities

• Generating apprenticeship learner starts through proactive business development and sales activity.
• Prospecting and engaging new employers, including outbound telephone activity.
• Building and managing long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
• Achieving agreed activity, revenue and apprenticeship start targets.
• Identifying opportunities to cross-sell additional training and development solutions.
• Understanding employer workforce and skills needs and matching them with suitable programmes.
• Supporting employers through the apprenticeship eligibility, onboarding and compliance process.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client and activity information on the CRM.
• Delivering an excellent level of customer service throughout the employer journey.
• Working closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale through to programme delivery.
