Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Experience managing audit engagements in a UK accountancy practice
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards and FRS 102 (UK GAAP)
• Comfortable leading teams and supporting junior staff
• Excellent organisational, time management and communication skills
• A full UK driving licence and access to a car for client visits

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of audit clients, overseeing planning, fieldwork and completion
• Supervise and mentor junior staff and seniors
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain high service standards
• Ensure audits comply with professional standards and regulatory requirements
• Liaise with partners on technical, strategic matters including billing and client development
• Contribute to internal team development and process improvements
• Maintain knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS 102) and industry trends
