Audit Practice Manchester is seeking an Audit Assistant Manager to join its growing team in Manchester. You will lead diverse audit assignments, manage fieldwork, and build strong client relationships.

The role involves supervising junior staff and contributing to planning, budgeting and efficient resource allocation. The ideal candidate will have ACA or ACCA (or finalist) with solid audit experience in practice, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset to progress within a growing firm.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification (or finalist level with relevant experience).
• Strong background within audit gained in an accountancy practice environment.
• Experience leading audits and supervising junior staff.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments.
• A proactive approach and desire to progress within a growing firm.

Responsabilités

• Leading audit assignments for a varied client portfolio.
• Managing fieldwork and reviewing audit files.
• Liaising directly with clients and building strong working relationships.
• Supervising, mentoring and developing junior team members.
• Assisting with audit planning, budgeting and resource allocation.
• Identifying opportunities to add value and improve client service.
