Job summary

Planet is seeking a results-driven commercial professional to grow its airline and inflight payments business across the European Union. You will develop new opportunities, build strategic partnerships and drive onboard payments, digital wallets and multi-currency solutions for airline customers.

You will manage end-to-end sales, forge executive relationships, and collaborate with product, risk and implementation teams to ensure successful onboarding and ongoing revenue growth across Europe.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships or account growth within payments, aviation, airline retail or travel tech.
• Proven track record of winning new business and delivering sustainable revenue growth.
• Experience selling to airlines, travel retailers or complex enterprise customers.
• Experience identifying, developing and managing ISV partnerships to enable airline opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategies to grow Planet’s airline and inflight payments business across the EU.
• Identify, qualify and secure new opportunities with large airline groups and regional carriers.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline for onboard payments (coffee, food, onboard retail).
• Lead the full sales cycle from discovery through contract execution.
• Develop executive-level relationships with airline commercial, retail, digital, finance and procurement teams.
• Collaborate with product, risk, compliance and implementation teams to onboard customers and drive revenue growth.
