Job summary

MBDA in Stevenage is seeking a Simulator Systems Engineer for the Hardware-in-the-Loop team. You will maintain real-time missile simulations and ensure control systems and motion simulators operate reliably.

This hands-on role requires flexibility, teamwork and the ability to adapt to new engineering challenges while supporting test campaigns and maintenance activities on site. The position offers hybrid working, a competitive salary up to £46,000, and benefits including a company bonus and

Qualifications

• Broad engineering experience with exposure to hydraulic systems, CAD, and control theory.
• CAD experience with CREO is a plus.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Hands-on workshop experience with tools and instrumentation.
• Strong psychomotor skills and dexterity; able to work at height.

Responsibilities

• Maintain simulations and ensure simulators and control systems are fit for purpose.
• Support multiple axis hydraulic motion simulators and antenna positioning systems.
• Plan maintenance activities and respond to issues with flexibility.
• Engage in a hands-on role with the missile test facility and related equipment.
