A Senior HWIL engineer in Stevenage will join the Hardware-in-the-Loop Team to design, test and integrate RF hardware with real-time simulations. The role involves collaborating with multiple disciplinary teams to extend capabilities for indoor missile simulations.
The ideal candidate has broad engineering experience with RF and systems, plus familiarity with Linux and optionally C++ and Raspberry Pi integration.

The Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) team conduct the most complete test of missiles other than a firing and Missile test track. We design complex, Real Time simulations that surround real missile hardware to allow us to 'fire missiles indoors'.
As a HWIL engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining new and existing RF equipment and working with multi-disciplinary teams to combine RF, electronics engineering and software development to produce new capabilities that enable HWIL to run new simulations - Produce new RF targets for missiles to track, simulated ECM. testing, root cause analysis, design, development, integration.
