Job summary

MBDA in Stevenage is seeking analytical engineers to join their Hardware In The Loop (HWIL) team. The role involves conducting dynamic missile firing simulations and supporting missile product development and performance validation.

The ideal candidate will have experience in real-time software design and an understanding of missile sub-systems. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement with operational responsibilities that include real-world missile hardware testing and analysis.

Qualifications

• Experience in dynamic missile firing simulations and missile product development.
• Knowledge of missile sub-systems and interactions with bespoke test equipment.
• Ability to analyse missile telemetry data.

Responsibilities

• Understand functionality of missile sub-systems involved in dynamic HWIL testing.
• Conduct hands-on testing with real missile hardware and software.
• Analyse missile telemetry data to understand performance.

Skills

System integration & interface debugging

Structured approach to problem solving

Real-time software / simulation design

Testing of sensors or sub-systems

Experience with Radio Frequency or InfraRed seekers
