Carrier Residential & Light Commercial (CRLE) is seeking a confident, self-starting engineer to join the technical team in Plymouth, Devon, UK. The main goal is to provide technical support for Toshiba-branded range of Heat Pump products for European customers, including the UK.

We welcome applications from experienced engineers and postgraduate engineers with electrical, mechanical, or communication backgrounds, residing within a commutable distance of Plymouth, Devon.

Responsibilities

• Supporting customers with installation and commissioning of heat pumps, including control device selection and commissioning (BMS).
• Providing pre- and post-sales technical support to European and UK customers for all Heat pump products (VRF, LC Residential, Air to Water).
• Preparing and presenting technical product training to EMEA customers.
• Liaising with internal teams to resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• Practical knowledge or ability to learn about air source heat pumps (graduate engineer: electrical or mechanical degree).
• Understanding of current and new legislation and testing documents.
• Effective communication skills at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Valid UK driving license.
