Job summary

Kingspan Insulation in Basildon, Essex, is seeking a Technical Advisor for the Technical Insulation business. You will provide technical advice to customers and internal/external colleagues, focusing on heat transfer calculations and compliant solutions.

The role is baselined at Basildon, 39 hours/week, Monday–Friday, emphasizing accuracy and service. You will collaborate with sales and development teams, interpret complex data, and contribute to product testing and literature.

Qualifications

Strong aptitude for mathematics, science, and problem solving.
Ability to interpret technical specifications and product data.
Excellent written and verbal communication with customers.
Good understanding of building services and construction practices.
Proactive about customer service goals and time management.

Responsibilities

Respond to requests for technical advice via multiple channels.
Ensure best practice advice in line with guidelines.
Produce heat transfer and insulation calculations for pipework and ductwork.
Attend customer meetings with Area Sales Managers / Business Development Managers.
Contribute to product testing, certifications and literature reviews.
