Job summary

Oaksmere Design Limited in Ipswich is seeking a Technical Design Engineer with HVAC expertise to support refrigeration systems. The role is hybrid, based in our Ipswich office with home working and occasional site visits across the UK.

You will work on HVAC air-conditioning plant, internal units, services design, vent ductwork and fan design, and contribute to asset management for equipment maintenance across sites.

Qualifications

• HVAC engineering knowledge and design experience.
• Familiarity with HVAC software tools.
• Experience in food retail HVAC projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support HVAC air-conditioning plant, internal units, services design.
• Design vent ductwork and fans for toilets and bakery areas.
• Assist with asset management for equipment maintenance across sites.

Job description

We are looking for an additional Technical Design Engineer with experience in the commercial HVAC sector, to support our client's refrigeration systems. This role will be a hybrid combination of being based in our Ipswich office, and home working. Site visits to UK locations will also be required.

The successful candidate will have the following skill set:

• Very comfortable working with Microsoft Office
• Experience of HVAC Engineering and HVAC Software
• Ideally some experience of HVAC projects in the food retail sector

They will be able to support HVAC air-conditioning plant, internal units, services design, along with vent ductwork and fan design for areas such a toilets and bakery areas. There will also be an opportunity to support other areas of our business relating to asset management for equipment maintenance, across sites.

This is a full time, 5 days per week permanent position, and the salary will be competitive and negotiable, subject to experience.
