Job summary

Johnson Controls in the United Kingdom is seeking an HVAC Retrofit Sales Engineer to identify, develop and close retrofit, replacement and energy efficiency opportunities across commercial and industrial customers. You will manage opportunities from prospecting through project handover, building strong customer relationships and achieving revenue and margin objectives.

The role requires strong HVAC knowledge, proven sales ability and the drive to deliver technical, commercial and sustainability

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience within HVAC, building services or retrofit solutions.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Ability to develop customer-focused technical solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Commercial awareness and a results-driven approach.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new HVAC retrofit and replacement opportunities.
• Conduct site surveys and assess existing HVAC systems.
• Develop technical and commercial proposals for customers.
• Present solutions and negotiate contracts.
• Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts and pipeline reporting.
• Build long-term relationships with customers, consultants and contractors.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Promote energy-efficient and low-carbon solutions.
