Job summary

CBS Recruitment is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Engineer for an ongoing contract across Cumbria. You will perform planned preventive maintenance on commercial buildings and plant rooms, handling split/multi-split systems, chillers, AHUs, and pumps. A strong fault-finding skillset and F-Gas Cat 1 are essential.

Applicants must have a full UK driving licence and the ability to manage both PPM and reactive tasks with attention to detailed service reports. Weekly pay and overtime options are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial buildings with building services or facilities maintenance
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems incl. VRF/VRV, AHUs and close control systems
• F-Gas Category 1 certification
• Experience performing both PPM and reactive maintenance
• Strong fault-finding across mechanical and air-conditioning systems
• Good knowledge of pumps and mechanical systems
• Basic electrical fault-finding and diagnostics
• Experience filling out service reports
• Full UK driving licence

HVAC Maintenance Engineer

Cumbria

CBS Recruitment are looking for a HVAC Maintenance Engineer for an ongoing contract across various sites in Cumbria. You will be completing planned preventative maintenance tasks across commercial buildings and plant rooms.

You will be working with split and multi-split air-conditioning systems, chillers, AHUs, fan coil units, pressurisation equipment, Pumps and circulating systems, heating and chilled water systems.

The ideal HVAC Maintenance engineer will have:

• Proven experience working within commercial buildings, ideally within a building services or facilities maintenance environment
• Strong knowledge of commercial air-conditioning and mechanical systems, including VRF/VRV, split systems, AHUs and, ideally, close control systems such as Denco
• F-Gas Category 1 certification
• Previous experience carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across mechanical and air-conditioning systems
• Good knowledge of pumps and associated mechanical systems
• Basic electrical fault-finding and diagnostic ability
• Experience with filling out service reports
• Full UK driving licence
