Job summary

CBS Recruitment are seeking an HVAC Maintenance Engineer for an ongoing contract across various sites in Cumbria. You will perform planned preventative maintenance on commercial buildings and plant rooms, including air-conditioning, pumps and heating systems.

The role requires strong fault-finding across mechanical and air-conditioning systems, experience with VRF/VRV and close control systems is desirable, plus holding a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial buildings or facilities maintenance.
• Knowledge of VRF/VRV, AHUs, and chillers.
• F-Gas Category 1 certification.
• Experience with PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding on mechanical and air-conditioning systems.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance across sites.
• Respond to reactive maintenance tasks.
• Work with HVAC equipment including split systems, chillers and AHUs.
• Complete and submit service reports.

HVAC Maintenance Engineer

Cumbria

CBS Recruitment are looking for a HVAC Maintenance Engineer for an on going contract across various sites in Cumbria. You will be completing planned preventative maintenance tasks across commercial buildings and plant rooms.

You will be working with split and multi-split air-conditioning systems, chillers, AHUs, fan coil units, pressurisation equipment, Pumps and circulating systems, heating and chilled water systems.

The ideal HVAC Maintenance engineer will have:

• Proven experience working within commercial buildings, ideally within a building services or facilities maintenance environment
• Strong knowledge of commercial air-conditioning and mechanical systems, including VRF/VRV, split systems, AHUs and, ideally, close control systems such as Denco
• F-Gas Category 1 certification
• Previous experience carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across mechanical and air-conditioning systems
• Good knowledge of pumps and associated mechanical systems
• Basic electrical fault-finding and diagnostic ability
• Experience with filling out service reports
• Full UK driving licence
