Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks a technical support professional to assist customers with building systems-related problems, provide on-site and remote support to installers and subcontractors, and set up control databases per project specifications.

You may perform field start-up and system commissioning to verify operation per design. The role requires experience with control and HVAC systems, plus proficiency in Windows-based apps (MS Word/Excel).

Qualifications

• Assoc. degree in HVAC, electrical or mechanical required.
• Bachelor’s degree in HVAC, electrical or mechanical engineering preferred.
• Minimum three years industry experience, or minimum one year as Systems Support Representative.

Responsibilities

• Program control applications using various software tools for operator workstations and DDC panels.
• Perform field startup, commissioning and testing of control applications.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support to installers and customers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, isolate root causes and report findings.
• Communicate resolutions clearly verbally and in writing to customers.
• Document problems and resolutions and prepare accurate paperwork.
