CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd in Livingston is seeking an experienced HVAC/Air Conditioning Engineer for the Central Belt. The role offers a salary up to £48,000 DOE and entails servicing, maintenance and fault diagnosis on commercial HVAC systems across diverse sites.

Applicants should hold F-Gas Cat 1, NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration or HVAC, and a full UK driving licence; IPAF/PASMA or willingness to obtain is also required. A company vehicle is provided and there is room for progression.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC systems.
• Respond to reactive maintenance calls and diagnose faults efficiently.
• Service, repair and maintain air conditioning and ventilation equipment.
• Undertake fault finding and complete remedial works.
• Inspect equipment to identify issues and recommend solutions.
• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Ensure all work complies with current health and safety legislation.
• Build strong relationships with clients through reliable service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC systems.

• Inspect equipment to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Ensure all work complies with current health and safety legislation.
• Build strong relationships with clients through professional and reliable service.
• Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota when required.

Person Specification:

• Proven experience servicing and maintaining commercial air conditioning systems.
• F-Gas Category 1 Certification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning or HVAC.
• IPAF and PASMA qualifications (or willingness to obtain).
