Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting an Air Conditioning Engineer to join our client’s team in the Central Belt. You will service, maintain and repair commercial HVAC systems, with duties including fault finding, site reports and adherence to health and safety standards.

Essential qualifications include F-Gas Category 1, NVQ 2/3 in HVAC, a Full UK driving licence, and IPAF/PASMA or willingness to obtain. Salary up to £45,000 DOE plus company vehicle and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience servicing and maintaining commercial air conditioning systems.
• F-Gas Category 1 Certification is essential.
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning or HVAC is required.
• IPAF and PASMA qualifications (or willingness to obtain) are preferred.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC systems.
• Respond to reactive maintenance call-outs and diagnose faults efficiently.
• Service, repair and maintain air conditioning and ventilation equipment.
• Undertake fault finding and complete remedial works where required.
• Inspect equipment to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Ensure all work complies with current health and safety legislation.
• Build strong relationships with clients through professional and reliable service.
• Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota when required.
