Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join our client’s expanding team in the Central Belt. The role focuses on servicing and maintaining commercial HVAC systems, with opportunities to work on a varied portfolio of industrial sites.

You will undertake planned preventative maintenance, diagnose faults efficiently, and contribute to high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience servicing and maintaining commercial air conditioning systems.
• F-Gas Category 1 Certification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning or HVAC.
• IPAF and PASMA qualifications (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC systems.
• Respond to reactive maintenance call-outs and diagnose faults efficiently.
• Service, repair and maintain air conditioning and ventilation equipment.
• Undertake fault finding and complete remedial works where required.
• Inspect equipment to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Ensure all work complies with current health and safety legislation.
• Build strong relationships with clients through professional and reliable service.
• Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota when required.
