Job summary

Marble Talent Group Ltd's client seeks an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to cover sites across the South of England. The role involves field-based maintenance, fault finding and repairs on commercial and industrial AC systems with a company vehicle provided.

The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, essential F-Gas qualification, and proven site experience. A full UK driving licence is required and you will work both independently and with a team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• F-Gas qualification is essential.
• Proven experience as a commercial or industrial Air Conditioning Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on split, VRF/VRV, chilled water and AHU systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Attend breakdowns and service call-outs, minimising customer downtime.
• Carry out refrigerant leak detection and repairs in line with F-Gas regulations.
• Commission and maintain air conditioning and ventilation systems.
• Fault-find compressors, fans, condensers, controls and electrical components.
• Complete service reports, timesheets and refrigerant records accurately.
• Provide customers with technical advice and recommendations.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to relevant industry standards.

Our client is a well-established specialist in commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration, with over 50 years of industry experience. They work with a diverse range of customers across the commercial, industrial, private and public sectors.

They are now looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their team, covering sites across the South of England.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer with strong commercial or industrial AC experience who is looking for a varied field-based role with an established and supportive employer.

Key Responsibilities

• F-Gas qualification - essential.
• Proven experience as a commercial or industrial Air Conditioning Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration, electrical systems and controls.
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with a range of refrigerants, including HFCs, HFOs or natural refrigerants, would be advantageous.
