Job summary

Prysmian Group in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Sales Manager to drive business development and sales for major onshore and offshore high-voltage cable projects. You will lead tendering and contract negotiations, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to secure new business and promote Prysmian’s value proposition.

The role focuses on large-scale turnkey projects for TSOs and private developers, with frequent travel across the UK and Europe.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in a relevant business or engineering discipline.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a project and/or solution sales environment.
• Familiarity with power transmission infrastructure or cables industry beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop business opportunities from inception to contract closure.
• Lead tender process and communicate bid strategy within the organisation.
• Coordinate bid team input and ensure governance in commercial and risk management.
• Lead contract negotiations and manage client communications for long-term relationships.
• Assess market dynamics and develop deliverable sales strategies with regional leads.
• Support project teams on commercial and client matters during execution.
• Improve proposal quality and sales processes via lessons learned.
